Progressive lenses allow presbyopes to see clear at every distance, from far to near and in intermediate vision, with the same glasses.
- Their complex optical surfaces can be « divided » in several areas :
the higher area of the lens corrects far vision;
the lower area corrects near vision;
In the middle, the progression area (corridor) allows to switch from a vision to another.
